Revive county lake talk
      A large cabin boat somehow ended up in the old river channel at Old Lock One earlier this week and got stuck in the mud of the shallow water. Observing the attempts to pull the boat back to deeper water were several fishermen who had put in at the Old Lock landing.

      Now that legislators are making nearly $50,000 a year, thanks to the 62 percent pay raise they granted themselves last week, they should be more than willing to pass a new ethics law that will drastically cut the monetary gifts that they can accept from lobbyists.
