Richardson gets three life terms

Already sentenced to one life sentence, a Thomasville man received three more in U.S. District Court in Mobile last Friday.

Stephen Harmon Richardson received the enhanced penalty because of his criminal history, which included convictions for drug-related and violent crimes, according to a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's office in Mobile.

During the sentence hearing, three minors testified that in February 2005, Richardson asked them to commit sexual acts with a female and with each other. He had a .22 caliber hangun tucked into the belt of his robe, they said.

In April, Richardson was sentneced in Clarke County Circuit Court to a life sentence for a parent allowing a minor to engage in pornography.
