The Community Action Agency is still making LIHEAP applications for heating assistance on a first come first serve basis.

If your household was not assisted between October 2006 to present you may apply for assistance with your heating bill.

Proof of income for the previous month for each household member. (Any household member that is 21 years old with no income, should have a written statement from someone that is not in the household, verifying that this person did not work in the previous month.)

Monthly income cannot be in excess of the following: One person - $1,225; two people - $1,650; three people - $2,075; four people - $2,500. Add $425 per month for each additional household member thereafter to determine eligibility. The energy bill.
