New probate office taking shape
 | | Construction workers were working on the new Clarke County Probate Office this week. The office, on the main floor of the existing courthouse, will include a front office and an office for the probate judge. Probate Jude Becky Presnall has a temporary office in a tiny space about six feet square and said she is looking forward to getting out of it. The probate offices connect to the vault, where deeds and other county records are stored. A new hallway between the probate office and the new Clarke County License Commissioner's office connects the existing courthouse to the new annex.
