Jackson

Champion Jackson Jr., 58 of Rockville died April 6, 2007 at Select Specialty Hospital in Gulfport, Miss.

He was born Aug. 22, 1948. He worked as a saw operator for C.E. Harrell.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Jackson, Jackson; his mother, Anna Mae Jackson, Jackson, four sons, Jimmy (Linda) Jackson, Glover Jackson, Frank Jackson, Charlie (Deandrea) Jackson, all of Jackson; one daughter, Cathy Jackson, Jackson; seven sisters, Shirley Bush, Vicki (Clint) Brown, Mary Jackson, Mary English, all of Jackson, Cynthia Chapman, Moss Point, Miss., Mattie (Raymond) Williams, Sunflower, Darlene (Barry) Wilson, Whatley; mother-inlaw, Evaline Sims, Jackson; 11 grandchildren.

The service will be Saturday, April 14 at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Olive No. 1 Baptist Church in Rockville. Visitation will be Friday, April 13 at 6 until 8 at the chapel of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive No. 1 Baptist Church Cemetery in Rockville.
