Annie Ree Steele, 69, of Jackson died April 10 at Jackson Health Care.

She was born June 22, 1937. She was a native of Marengo County. She was a member of Star Zion

A.M.E. Zion

Church of Jackson. She was a retired cafeteria worker at Jackson Middle School.

Survivors include four sons, Charles (Judith) Steele, Spencer Steele, Rodney (Amy) Steele, Fredrick Steele, all of Jackson; one daughter, Janice Caves, Jackson; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

The service will be held Sunday, April 15 with visitation to begin at noon until 1:30 p.m. at Star Zion A.M.E. Church of Jackson. Burial will be in the Sidney Chapel A.M.E. Zion Cemetery in Consul. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
