Soil & Water contest winners
The Clarke County Soil & Water Conservation District awarded their 2007 Poster and Essay Winners. Left to right: Susie Kennedy Supervisor for the Clarke County Soil & Water Conservation District, Thomasville Elementary Principal Helen Stephens, second place winner Kenton Brasell, first place winner Forrest Campbell and art teacher Diane Harris. Both students are third graders at Thomasville Elementary. The title for the Poster Contest was "Conservation Power." Forrest's Poster will compete in the Area VI Competition. First Place Poster Winners received an award of $20 and Second Place $10.
Susie Kennedy Supervisor for the Clarke County Soil & Water Conservation District congratulates Austin Bedwell, first place winner of the 2007 Essay Contest. Austin attends Clarke Prep. and he is in the 7th Grade. The title of the essay is "Conservation Power." Austin's essay will now Compete in the Area VI Competition. He was awarded $50.
