Capitol flag for the troops
Congressman Jo Bonner helped secure a U.S. flag that was flown over the U.S. Capitol for area troops serving in the Armed Forces. The flag, along with a letter of appreciation to the troops from Bonner, was placed in a display case and the presentation was made to the group recently at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. From left are Airman Dianna Sinningson, Technical Sergeant Richard Dalton, Airmen First Class Tyler Parker (son of Marty and Lisa Parker of Grove Hill) and Senior Airman Victoria Lopez. Marty Parker expressed appreciation to Bonner for his support of the military.
