Another wreck at bad intersection
Three people were injured in an accident at Highway 43 and Highway 295 ( Jackson Street) last week. James Kevin Moree, 31, of Grove Hill was attempting to cross Highway 43 from Jackson Street to Hebron Road and pulled into the path of Deanna Grace Motes, 20, of Jackson, who was southbound on Highway 43. Moree was driving a 2004 Ford E-350 van and Motes was driving a 2003 Chrysler Sebring. The Jaws of Life device was used by Grove Hill Fire and Rescue to free Motes from her vehicle. Moree, Motes and Motes' infant son Logan were all transported to Grove Hill Memorial Hospital. Logan Motes was treated and released. Moree was transported to Mobile Infirmary Medical Center and Ms. Motes was LifeFlighted to USA Medical Center in Mobile. Several wrecks have happened at this intersection since the bypass opened.
