Sanders Ruby Rivers Sanders, 90, of Thomasville died April 7, 2007 at Monroe Manor Nursing Home in Monroeville. She was born Oct. 1, 1916 in Thomasville. She was a member of the Midway Baptist Church. She was a retired school teacher. Survivors include her son, Robert William Sanders, Thomasville; two daughters, Faye Sanders Hicks, Jackson, Kaye Sanders Cobb, Monroeville; one brother, Vernon Rivers, Grove Hill; one sister, Jean Singleton, Monroeville; four grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren. The service was April 9 at 4 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church with Revs. Rex Jackson and Scott Myers officiating. Burial was in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed. Active pallbearers were Larry Sheffield, Neil Champion, Mike Oliver, Perry Dailey, Clint Bagley and Billy Brooks.
Honorary pallbearers were her Sunday School class at Midway Baptist Church and Johnny Clyde Buckalew, Jimmie Stephens, Johnny Bagley and Pat Hill.
