CPS Gators fall, miss shot at playoffs
      The Clarke Prep School Gators split a double-header with Cottage Hill Tuesday afternoon in Grove Hill. Going into the double-dipper the Gators knew they needed to win both games to make it to the playoffs. Everything went according to plan in the first game as they won 5-0.

      The Clarke County High School Bulldogs lost 6-4 to the Bulldogs of Sweet Water on the road Monday afternoon. Lady Bulldogs edge Excel 3-2 to get win
      The Clarke County High School Lady Bulldogs ended their losing skid Tuesday afternoon as they beat Excel 3-2 in Grove Hill. Carrie Gordon went 3-for-3 with a run scored. Brittney Dunson was 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Nicki Harvell was 1-for-3 with a run scored.

Lady Gators fall in Tuscaloosa DH
      The Clarke Prep School Lady Gators traveled to Tuscaloosa last Friday and dropped both ends of a double-header. In the second game they lost 11-4. Katelyn Dunagan was 2-for-2 with an RBI. Jessica McKinley was 2-for-3. Haley Hill, Tess Ackerman and Corrie Allen each added a hit.

Kelley named NAIA Player of the Week
      Montgomery, Ala. - Senior second baseman Junior Kelley of Auburn University Montgomery was named the NAIA National Player of the Week last Wednesday. This award marks the first time in Senator Baseball history that a member of the team has won the weekly national honor.
