T'ville police arrest man on sexual abuse charge

Thomas Earl Peters was arrested April 17 for sexual abuse first degree.

"The victim is a three-year-old child. The parents of the victim reported the crime to us," said Thomasville Police Department Investigator Shane Lindsey.

Peters was arrested over a month ago for raping a 27 year-old female.

Other arrests reported by Thomasville Police Department for the week of April 16-22 include:

Demetrius Larkins, probation violation, arrested April 19.

Stephanie Dawn Kirk, two counts, bad checks, (warrant) for Clarke County, arrested April 16.

Larry Radcliff, driving under the influence, arrested April 16.

Gary Hill, failure to appear on driving while license revoked, arrested April 16.

Jermaine Norwood, non-payment child support (warrant) for Clarke County, domestic violence (warrant) for Prichard Police Department, arrested April 17.

Glen Lewis, three counts, theft of property, third degree, (warrant), arrested April 19.

Fred Henry Welch Jr., violation of noise ordinance, arrested April 19.

Walter Ray Morgan Jr., non-payment of child support (warrant) for Clarke County, arrested April 19.

Antonio Rico Rodgers, failure to appear on driving while license suspended, arrested April 20.

Ivory Johnson Jr., theft of property, third degree, arrested April 21.

Kenneth Wayne Watson Jr., violation of noise ordinance, arrested April 20.

Shauntae Lesha Hollins, failure to appear, theft of property, third degree, arrested April 22.

Thomasville Police assisted with five accidents, answered 32 complaints, made two felony arrests and 15 misdemeanor arrests, gave 35 traffic tickets and nine warning ticket, made one DUI arrest and performed 137 special details.
