CPS rolls past Morgan, Fort Dale

The Clarke Prep School Lady Gators had no problems with Fort Dale Academy last Friday as they won 15-0 in three innings in Grove Hill.

Corrie Allen went 3-for-3 with two triples and three RBI. Kay Kay Grocholl went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Tess Ackerman was 1- for-3 with a double and three RBI. Stephanie Sales was 1-for- 1 with an RBI. Haley Hill, Andrea Bagley and Courtney Dunagan each had a hit. Anna Hicks had an RBI.

Grocholl earned the win as she struck out four in two innings. Ackerman pitched one frame.

Last Thursday the Lady Gators traveled to Selma and beat the Lady Senators 20-5.

Grocholl got the win with three strikeouts in four innings on the mound. Ackerman struck out three in two innings of work.

Allen went 3-for-4 with a triple and four RBI. Ackerman went 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI. Jessica McKinley was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI. Hill went 2-for-4 with three RBI. Grocholl was 2-for-5 with two RBI. Katelyn Dunagan was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Courtney Dunagan was 2-for-4. Whitney Gavin went 1-for-1.

Clarke Prep traveled to Mobile Tuesday to play Faith in a double header.

The results from these games will be in next week's Democrat.
