Woman charged with embezzling $38,000 from T'ville business

A Thomasville woman was arrested by Thomasville Police Department for embezzling $38,000 from Texaco Express Lube last week.

Tracy Smith Luker was charged with theft of property, first degree.

She began working at Texaco last summer and quit a month prior to being arrested.

Other arrests reported by Thomasville Police Department include:

Douglas Anthony Tate, escape, third degree, resisting arrest, giving false information to a police officer, child abandonment, violation of prohibition law, arrested April 28; failure to pay on disorderly conduct, arrested April 30.

Robert Shawn Gunter, harassment, arrested April 24.

Charlie Etheridge, failure to appear on driving while license revoked, arrested April 24.

Angela Day Wall, harassment, arrested April 26.

Tessa Kay Harvell, harassment, arrested April 26.

Alicia Marie Stalvey, assault, third degree, arrested April 26.

Gillian Travis Cramer, failure to appear on improper tag, arrested April 26.

Latrice Lachelle Boykin, harassment, arrested April 26.

Ivory Johnson Jr., theft of property, third degree, arrested April 28.

Marcus Eugene Pope, disorderly conduct, public intoxication, violation of prohibition law, arrested April 29.

Mark Anthony Heard, theft of property, third degree, arrested April 30.

Thomasville police officers investigated two traffic accidents, responded to 22 complaints, issued 35 traffic tickets and two warning tickets and performed 154 special details during the week of April 23-29.
