Drama Club goes colonial
Twenty-two students traveled back in time to showcase life in Colonial America on the back campus of Clarke County High School. The Drama Club dressed in colonial attire and portrayed famous people who lived during that time period. Members of the Concert Band played old-time music throughout the demonstration. The students had to research to find out how people lived back then. Every student at each booth had to first learn about the exhibit. The booths ranged from music, foods, clothes, homes, games, tools, transportation and punishment. The students prepared and brought an assortment of food, crafts, and made a Colonial home out of Popsicle sticks. Overall, Colonial Day was a great success. Everyone that passed the exhibit left with more knowledge about Colonial America.
