Dixie Youth action

The Tigers beat the Rangers 13- 9 in 9 & 10-year-old Grove Hill Dixie Youth action Monday night.

Justin Smith led the way for the Tigers by going 2-for-3 with a double and a triple. Adding a hit were Zakery Armistead, Hunter Spidle, Trey Larrimore with an inside-the-park home run and Justin Baugh with a single.

Getting hits for the Rangers were: Joseph Harris, 2-for-3; Ed Bennett, 2-for-2; Matt Parnell, 2- for-2 with an inside-the-park homer and a double; Jacorey Morris and Jamrius had a hit.

Diamondbacks 6, Tigers 2

Jacorey went 2-for-2 with a triple to lead the Diamondbacks over the Tigers 6-2.

Chaunce Chapman went 2-for- 3. Adding a hit were Bailey Newton, Dustin Huggins with a double and Jordan Bradford.

Hunter Spidle had the only hit for the Tigers.

Tigers 10, Marlins 5

Spidle led the way for the Tigers in their 10-5 win over the Marlins as he went 3-for-3 with a double.

Tyler Pugh went 2-for-3 with a double. Zakery Armistead went 2-for-2 with two doubles. Justin Smith was 1-for-1 with a double.

Getting hits for the Marlins were: Anthony Taylor, going 2- for-3 with an inside-the-park homer. E. Moore had a double. Jacob Pritchett and C. May each had a hit.

Royals 15, Yankees 12

On Thursday, April 26 the Royals beat the Yankees 15-12.

For the Royals: Tyreke Gaillard and Keagan Guthrie both went 3- 3 with Tyreke having a double and 2 singles and Keagan had 3 home runs. Quinntavius "Popcorn" Knight , Jessie Taite, Rylan Allday, Adam Ethridge, Braeden Guthrie, and Conner Overstreet all had two hits a piece with Rylan Allday having a home run. Cameron Gates went 1-3 with a triple.

For the Yankees: Dylan Smith, Braxton Carrasco, Austin Averitt, Harris Gates, and Robbie, all went 3-3 with Dylan having a home run. Rashon Horn, Gauge Horton, and Curtis all went 2-3. Drew , Daniel , Jacob , and John Hill Newsome each had one hit a piece.

Pirates 14, Royals 10

For the Royals:

The Pirates edged the Royals 14-10 last Friday

Keagan Guthrie and Cameron Gates both went 3-3 with Keagan a home run. Quintavius "Popcorn" Knight, Adam Ethridge, and Braeden Guthrie all went 2- 2. Tyreke Gaillard, Jessie Taite, Conner Overstreet, Nick McVay, Noah Pugh, and Seth Netow each got one hit.

For the Pirates: Trey Mc- Connell, Bryce Lolley, Trevor Overton, and Tavious Washington all went 3-3 with Bryce having a triple. Dallas Todd, J.R. Kelley, Tyler Stewart, and Damion Welch each had 2 hits.

Damion Welch had a home run.

Andrew Motes, Chase Gunter, Luke Kelley, and Alex Atchison each had one hit.

Pirates 8, Royals 7

The Pirates again beat the Royals 8-7 Monday night. For the Royals: Adam Ethridge and Jessie Taite both went 2-2.

Quinntavious "Popcorn" Knight, Keagan Guthrie, Cameron Gates, Rylan Allday, Seth Newton, Noah Pugh, and Braeden Guthrie each had one hit with Keagan having a home run.

For the Pirates: Tony Lewis, Dallas Todd, and Damion Welch each had two hits a piece. Dallas and Damion each had a home run. Trey McConnell, Bryce Lolley, Trevor Overton, Tavious Washington, Chase Gunter, and Kase Reeves each had a hit.

Tavious had a home run.
