'Mobile' home for soon-to-be-married couple
Jennifer Wood and Jason Gates are getting married Saturday at Tompkins Baptist Church. Last week, Gates moved a home that he owns and had built from Old Highway 5 just south of Thomasville to a lot on Church Street in Grove Hill just north of The Democrat office. The house was moved down Old 5 and along Old 43 for a short distance to the site. The landscape along North Church Street is changing- Shirley Johnson's new home is going up across the street from where the Gates home is located.
