Red Sox edge Royals 16-15

The Red Sox beat the Royals 16-15 on Reece Powell's 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth in Grove Hill Dixie Youth coach-pitch action Monday night.

The Red Sox scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth for a come from behind victory. Billy Harrigan and Lane Rotch went 4-for-4 at the plate. Reece Powell went 3-for-4 with a home run. Edward Skipper was 3-for-3, with a home run. Kaylin Wright was also 3-for-3. Lawrence Coates, Collin Harvell, Dylan Hutchinson and Tim Russell all were 2-for-3. Deonore Pugh was 1-for-4. Hamilton Huggins and Theron Stacey were 1-for-3 for the Red Sox.

The Red Sox had no strike outs and ll players hit safely at least once.

The Royals were lead by Adam Etheridge and Rylan Allday at the plate, each going 3-for-3. Cameron Gates, Noah Pugh, Nick McVay, Keagan Guthrie and Tyreke Gaillard were all 2-for-3.

Quinntarius "Popcorn" Knight had a home run for the Royals. Seth Newton and Danontae Mitchell also had a hit for the Royals.
