Lots of Coffeeville visiting on Mother's Day Sunday

Mrs. Angie DeMouy and daughter, Caitlyn of Mobile spent Mother's Day with her mother, Mrs. Patsy Clanton.

Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Rascoe attended church in Mobile on Sunday with his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Rascoe.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Roberts attended the National Intermediate Ball Tournament in Birmingham on Saturday and Sunday. Their grandson, Cullen Roberts of Atlanta, Ga. was one of the participants. He is the son of Barry and Sue Roberts.

Jesse Latham of Orange Beach visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Latham over the weekend.

Among those attending the Green-Eaves wedding in Camden on Saturday were: Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Jordan, Heather Siavelis and Helen, Rita Wilson, Joan S. Courington, Joan N. Courington, Patsy Clanton, Lyndal Scruggs, Alice Wentworth, Billie Reid, Mr. and Mrs. Davis Deas, Mr. and Mrs. Darren Deas and family, Kane, Kaden, Kolton, Tammy Motes and Peggy Armistead.

Guests of Mrs. Edna Cox on Sunday were her great niece and husband, Danielle and Chris Kurkendaye of Artesia, New Mexico; her children and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cox, and Maggie of Grove Hill; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cox, Claire, Christopher and Cailey, Mr. and Mrs. Temple Huckabee, Anna and Emily, all of Coffeeville Danielle Kurkendaye is the granddaughter of the late Clyde Guy, a native of Coffeeville.

My daughter, Sharon Johnson of Montgomery spent several days last week with me. She also attended the Greene-Eaves wedding on Saturday.

Mrs. Jessica Graffia of New Orleans, La. returned home Saturday after visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe James.

Mr. and Mrs. Greg Siavelis and Helen of Northport spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Jordan.

Mrs. Golden Sheperd had as her guests over the weekend, her daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Hamilton of Gautier, Miss., Mrs. Janice Desporte, her daughter, Mrs. Terry Roberson, her granddaughter, Mrs. Crystal Howard and children, Madison and Leslie, all of the Mobile area.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Rev. Ray Roberts who died Monday.
