Robinson

Lela Dell Ezell Robinson, 80, of Jackson died May 10, 2007 at Jackson Health Care Facility.

She was born Aug. 27, 1926. She was a native of Whatley. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whatley. She was a member of Russell Success Chapter 674, Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include a devoted nephew whom she raised as her son, Henry Clay Horn, Mobile; three brothers, John Dennis (Katie) Ezell, Grove Hill, Eddie Dean (Alania) Ezell, Minneapolis, Minn., Jackie (Kimberly) Ezell, Toledo, Ohio; four sisters, Kimberly (Kenneth) Smith, Grove Hill, Tonya Ezell, Brenda (Henry Earl) Horn, all of Whatley, Linda (Charles) Jones, Mobile; three step-sisters, Doris (Felton) Harris, Whatley, Elaine (Joseph) Taylor, Augusta, Ga., Marie (Pat) Quinn, Toldeo, Ohio; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Strawder Robinson and two brothers, Maxine Ezell and L.J. Ezell.

Visitation will be Thursday, (tonight), May 17 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the chapel of Andrews Funeral Home. The service will be Friday, May 18 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Whatley with Rev. Fernell Pendleton to officiate. Burial will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery.
