Revival concludes

The Full Gospel Apostolic Church of God of St. Stephens will conclude its revival Thursday, (tonight), June 7 at 7:30 p.m. Bishop Theodore Law is the pastor and founder.

GHUMC carnival

The Grove Hill United Methodist Church will have a carnival Friday, June 8 at 6 p.m. There will be a bake sale, fishing booth, pie the pastor, dinner, face painting contests, and a three legged race. Rev. Dave Rhodes is the pastor.

Full Gospel anniversary

Praise and Deliverance Full Gospel Ministry of Pine Hill will have its annual anniversary honoring Apostle and Elect Lady Sherman Buford Friday, June 8 at 7 p.m. at 111 Jade Lane in Pine Hill, Saturday, June 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pine Hill City Hall and Sunday, June 10 at 3 p.m., also at the Pine Hill City Hall.

Faith Whole True revival

Faith Whole True #2 in Pennington will have three nights of Holy Ghost Revival beginning Friday, June 8 through Sunday, June 10 at 7 p.m. nightly. The evangelist will be Eva Hines of Mobile. Magnolia work day There will be a cemetery working at Magnolia Cemetery on the Piney Woods Road Saturday, June 9 at 8 a.m.

Wilson Chapel Men's Day

Wilson Chapel A.M.E. Church will observe Men's Day Sunday, June 10 with worship at 11 a.m. followed by the evening worship at 3 p.m. The guest minister will be Rev. James Curry, pastor of the New Hope #1 Baptist Church of Thomasville. Rev. Levi H. Marshall is the host pastor.

Truevine Youth Day

and Revival

Truevine Baptist Church located at 5130 Brooksville Road in Dickinson will have its Youth Day Sunday, June 10 at 1:30 p.m. Revival will be Wednesday, June 13 through Friday, June 15 at 7 p.m. nightly. There will be a different speaker each night. Sis. Joyce Arnold is the secretary. Rev. Roderick Scott is the pastor.

Youth Day at New Hope

Greater New Hope A.M.E. Church of Millry will have its annual Youth Day Sunday, June 10 at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Al Smith, pastor of the King's Chapel Baptist Church of Yarbo. Sis. Gladys Daniels is the secretary. Rev. Ivory James is the pastor.

Church of Christ meetings

Thomasville Church of Christ located at the corner of Third Street and Worl will have a gospel meeting Sunday, June 10 through Friday, June 15. Brother West Brown will be the guest speaker. Services on Sunday will be 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Services Monday through Friday will be at 7:30 p.m. nightly. There will be spiritual singing, praise, prayer and uplifting Bible lessons designed to glorify God, speak His truth in love and lead souls to Heaven.

Grace Baptist special

Grace Baptist Church will have a special day Sunday, June 10 for Mrs. Annie Clarice Gates beginning at 10 a.m. The day will feature "The Glory Road Quartet," singing from 10 until 11:30 a.m. and worship from 11:30 until 12 noon. Dinner will be served on the grounds following. Rev. Jimmy Powell is the pastor.

Indian Ridge celebration

Indian Ridge Baptist Church of Whatley will have a celebration Sunday, June 10 at 2 p.m. Rev. Clayton Davis Jr. of Greater Pilgrim Rest of Walker Springs will be the preacher during the program. Rev. Johnny Lynum is the pastor.

Peniel homecoming

Peniel Baptist Church located at 1730 McVay Road of Jackson will have homecoming Sunday, June 10 at 11 a.m. Bro. Grady Goodman, former pastor will be the guest speaker. There will be a covered dish lunch in the fellowship hall after the morning worship service. There will be a singing in the afternoon. Bro. Shannon Moses is the pastor.

Church of God special

Inspirational Church of God In Christ located at 1171 Industrial Road in Jackson will have restoration time Thursday, June 14 and Friday, June 15 at 7 p.m. nightly. The guest speaker will be Prophet Roger Kirksey of the House of Judah of Mobile. Rev. Beverly Jackson is the pastor.

Round Hill revival

Round Hill Baptist Church of Thomasville will have a revival with Gary Bradley Jr., assistant district attorney of Shelby County as the guest speaker. He will deliver many topics beginning Thursday, June 14 at 7 p.m., entitled, "The Nature of Pain" - (Why does it hurt?); Friday, June 15 at 7 p.m., "Helping Hurting People," Saturday, June 16 at 7 p.m. "Helping Hurting People" - (Part 2), Sunday, June 17 at 7 at 11 a.m., "It's Midnight Again," (My personal story of dealing with cancer and a stroke.) Mrs. Robbie Purser is the pianist. Sarah Peppenhorst is the song director. Rev. Grady Goodman is the pastor.

Beulah Camp meetings

Beulah Camp meeting will begin Thursday, June 14 through Sunday, June 24. Beulah was organized in 1941 and will celebrate 66 years with 10 days of old fashioned preaching and singing. Services are at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. each day. Rooms and meals are available for anyone wanting to stay at the camp. Beulah Camp is inter-denominational and is located one and onefourth mile south of U.S. Highway 84, on Monroe County 37 between Repton and Excel. All roads leading to the camp are good and everyone is welcome.

Spencer Chapel

Men's Day

Spencer Chapel A.M.E. Church of Fulton will have its annual Men's Day Sunday, June 17 at 11 a.m. Rev. Kenneth Glasgow, pastor, evangelists and founder of the Ordinary People's Society of Dothan will be the guest speaker.

Pastor's anniversary

Cedar Point Baptist Church located on Highway 31 in the West Bend community of Coffeeville will celebrate it's pastor's 12th year anniversary Sunday, June 17 at 2 p.m. The speaker will be Rev. Donald Reed and his congregation of the New Union Baptist Church of Coffeeville. Rev. James Chaney is the pastor.

Pine Chapel workshop

Pine Chapel Baptist Church #2 and the music department will host a musical workshop Thursday, June 21 and Friday, June 22 at 6 p.m. nightly ending with a musical concert on Saturday, June 23 (TBA). This musical workshop will be in memory of Edn'Drika Henderson. Clinicians for this musical workshop will be Joe Merida Jr. of Enterprise, James Jones Jr. of Birmingham, Dr. Jeffery Merida of Thomasville and Thomas Edward Pugh of Columbus, Ga. There will be a registration fee of $10. All choirs, groups, soloists and musicians are invited to participate. St. James Men's Day

St. James A.M.E. Church of Choctaw Bluff will celebrate Men's Day Sunday, June 24. Sunday school will be at 9:30 a.m., worship at 11 a.m. and at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Levi Marshall, pastor of the Wilson Chapel A.M.E. Church of Grove Hill as the guest speaker. Rev. Clausell Boykin is the pastor.

Coffeeville Cemetery

Donations are sought for the maintenance of the Coffeeville Cemetery. Families and friends of loved ones buried in the community cemetery may send donations to Patsy Woodham, P.O. Box 86, Coffeeville, Ala. 36524.
