Veteran visits WWII memorial in D. C.

Tbe Rev. Bealie Harrison of the Chilton community sits at the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. recently. Harrison, a WWII veteran, was one of over 100 veterans who were able to visit the memorial erected in veterans' honor. The veterans' visit was sponsored by Honor Flight, an organization that raises money and plans the trip as a way to honor the veterans. The veterans also saw the Korean and Vietnam war memorials and Arlington National Cemetery. Harrison's son, Eddie, accompanied him on the trip.
