Flying high

Ensign Landon Foster is training to be a U.S. Naval pilot and is flying T-45 training jets out of Kingsville, Texas to learn to fly in formation. The planes fly within three feet of one another at extraordinary speeds. President Bush spoke at his graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland in 2005. He will likely be promoted to lieutenant junior grade within a few weeks and should earn his "wings" later in the year. He is a graduate of Clarke County High School and the son of Terry and Diane Foster.
