911 settles into new quarters

The Clarke County E-911 dispatching center recently moved into new and larger quarters on the second floor of the courthouse in the space that was formerly part of the old jail. Director Becky Nugent and dispatcher Lauretta Garraway pose in the new dispatching area. The new center has four stations and Nugent said the new center offers mapping tracking, cell phone tracking, historical tracking of previous 911 calls and many other services not previously available. The old center was located in cramped quarters on the first floor of the south wing of the courthouse.
