Search for man continues
On June 7 a team from the Klaas Kids Foundation, officers from Clarke County Sheriff's Department and Monroe County Sheriff's Department and the Jackson Rescue Squad along with cadaver dogs from Florida and Mississippi searched various areas in the county for James Earl Foreman. Foreman, described as a black male, five feet nine inches tall, weighing 160 pounds was last seen in the Whatley community Sept. 15, 2006 getting into a brown pickup truck with two white males. "He was a shade tree mechanic and was seen every day by people in the community. Then all of a sudden he wasn't there any more. We have several leads in the investigation which we are following," CCSD Chief Deputy Vergil Chapman said.
Anyone with information on Foreman's disappearance is asked to contact the Clarke County Sheriff's Department at 251-275- 8132 or 251-275-8156.
