Doing well at UWA

McCoy
Domoneek McCoy of Lower Peach Tree has finished her junior year at the University of West Alabama with honors. She had a 3.8 grade point average and is on the president's and dean's honors lists.

She is a member of five honor societies, Phi Eta Sigma, Beta Beta Beta, Phi Kappa Phi, Alpha Chi and Cardinal Key, of which she is vice president.

She attended the 150th annual conference of the American Association of University Women and she will be attending a week-long conference in June at the Leading Edge Institute for women. She received the award for tutor of the semester during the fall and spring semesters for the student support service on campus.

She is the daughter of William and Grace McCoy of Lower Peach Tree.
