ATN project engineer earns CSP certification

Paula Borden Byrd, Project Engineer, at Alabama Technology Network (ATN) office located on the Alabama Southern Community College Campus in Thomasville, has completed all requirements for certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).

Byrd, originally from Russellville, has been employed with ATN since April 2003. She graduated from the University of Alabama in May 1995 with a bachelors of science in mechanical engineering. She is married to Kevin Byrd and they live in Thomasville and have three children.

The Alabama Technology Network of the Alabama College System links two-year colleges, the University of Alabama System, Auburn University and the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama to solve the needs of industry.
