Ernestine Beck Thomas, 78, died at her residence in Montgomery, June 6, 2007. She was born October 27, 1928. She was a native of Clarke County. She was a retired school bus driver for the Montgomery County School Board and a member of The Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Prattville.

Survivors include one brother, A. G. Beck of Jackson; two sisters, Melrose Coleman of Walker Springs and Myrtle Willoughby of Grove Hill.

Funeral services were held June 8, 2007 at the Chapel of Lathan Funeral Home of Jackson, with burial in the Stave Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
