Pedestrian struck on Old Line Road
Lawmen and paramedics were called Friday to the report of a man being hit by a vehicle while he was walking along the Old Line Road. Derrick Barnett said a car hit him and kept going but he managed to get off of the roadway and into the yard of a residence. Jet's Ambulance personnel administered aid at the scene and transported Barnett to Grove Hill Memorial Hospital where he was reportedly examined and released without serious injuries. No arrest has been made in the incident.
