Dunagan anniversary draws over 100

Mr. and Mrs. James Dunagan were honored on Sunday, June 10 with a 60th anniversary reception. It was hosted by their children, Michael, Glenn, Ralph and Paula Parr and was held at Ulcanush Baptist Church.

Among those from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dunagan of Birmingham; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Dunagan of Eufaula, Mr. and Mrs. Higley Parr, Joe Parr, Irma Parr, all of Demopolis, Mr. and Mrs. Joey Chance, Frannie and Gabe of Prattville; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Parr, Anna Grace and Emma Kate of Gallion; Mr. and Mrs. Doug Elder of Lineville, Miss., and Mr. and Mrs. Robbie Dunagan of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., Edward Hare, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Pugh, Mrs. Geneva Ott, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Counselman, all of Thomasville, Mrs. Rubye Fendley of Fulton; Mr. and Mrs. Dewayne Wilkerson and Coleman, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Watters of Grove Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Alday, Mr. and Mrs. David Guy, Mrs. Patricia Harvey, Rachel Toomey, Jacob, John David and Maggie, Allie Overton, Connie and Scott Williamson, all of Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Max Byrd, Mrs. Margaret Seymour, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Atchison, all of Salitpa, Amy Dunagan of Quinton, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Roger McKay of Excel, Mrs. Jean Aubrey, Mrs. Hixann Gaston, Mrs. Monica Vanardoe, Michael and Justin, Michael Steben, all of Mobile, Jesse Griffith of Millry, Chase Cochran of Hattiesburg, Miss., Joseph Gomez of New York, N.Y. There were 100 or more guests registered.

Mrs. Alice Wentworth returned home Monday from Columbia, Tenn. where she visited her daughter, Phyllis for several days.

Mrs. Jeanette Hamilton of Gautier, Miss. visited her mother, Mrs. Golden Shepherd over the weekend.

Garrett and Evan Rascoe have returned home to Mobile after spending several days with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Rascoe.

Nicholas Reid of Northport spent Sunday with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Roberts and me.

Jaden and Ivy Hannah Edge of Cullman recently visited their grandmother, Mrs. Lillian Hicks for a few days. Last week they enjoyed a week at Dauphin Island with their mother, Melissa and Mrs. Heather Jordan, Jeffrey and Gaines of Bladon Springs. Mrs. Kendra Walker, Lalia and Nick spent two days with them.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Odell Taylor who died Friday.
