Thomas-Wilson to wed July 21

Miss Thomas, Mr. Wilson
Mr. and Mrs. Jule Thomas III of Birmingham announce the engagement of their daughter, Zipporah Leah Thomas, to Tremaine LeVar Wilson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl L. Wilson of Grove Hill.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Bessie Franklin and the late Rev. Odies Franklin of Whatley and the late Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Wilson, Sr. of Suggsville.

He is the great-grandson of the late Ms. Iola Coleman of Grove Hill.

Mr. Wilson is a 2000 graduate of Clarke County High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Auburn University in 2004. He is currently a graduate student at Troy University where he will receive his MBA with a concentration in accounting this fall.

He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and is employed with the Alabama Department of Revenue as a Revenue Examiner in Montgomery.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jule Thomas II of Dolomite, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sparks Sr. of Birmingham.

Ms. Thomas is a graduate of Ramsey High School in Birmingham. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree and her Master Degree in Education as a Special Education Teacher from Auburn University.

She is employed by the Shelby County Board of Education as a Special Education teacher.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 4:30 p.m., at the New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Dolomite.

The reception will immediately follow at the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel.

All family and friends are invited to attend.
