Bennie James Dixon Jr., 27, of Selma died June 7, 2007 at Vaughan Regional. He was born Jan. 15, 1980.

Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Young; one son, Darius Wilson; two brothers, Maurice Broadnax, Jeffery Dixon; two sisters, Chandra Broadnax and Evelyn Dixon.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Dixon Sr.

The service was June 15 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with James G. Curry officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Reese Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
