McCaskill James McCaskill, 81, of Lower Peach Tree died June 10, 2007 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born March 26, 1926. He was a member of the Mt. Sinai A.M.E. Church. Survivors include his wife, Direather McCaskill; four sons, Walter McCaskill, Leroy McCaskill, Glenn McCaskill, Roderick McCaskill; three daughters, Bessie Martin, Jessie McCaskill, Rochaundra McCaskill; one brother, Marion McCaskill Jr.; one sister, Pearlie Mae Davis; 20 grandchildren. The service was June 16 at Mt. Sinai A.M.E. Church with Rev. W.W. Nixon officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery. Reese Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
Active pallbearers were grandsons and nephews.
