Announcements Spencer Chapel VBS Spencer Chapel A.M.E. Church of Fulton will continue its Vacation Bible School, Thursday, (today), June 28 and end Friday, June 29 from 4 pm to 6 p.m. daily. This year's theme is "Graduate to Great...The Jesus Way." Lessons presented from ages preschool to adult. Everyone is invited to come. Host pastor is Rev. W.T. Lesueur. Sunday School Superintendent is Bro. Ronnie Slaughter. Oak Grove singing Oak Grove Baptist Church of the Chilton community will have a singing Saturday, June 30 at 7 p.m. The featured singers will be Good News. There will also be other area churches congregational singing. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Rev. Morris Hill is the pastor. Singing Convention The Clarke County Singing Convention will be held at the Dixon Mills Baptist Church, Saturday, June 30, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Congregational singing. Everyone is invited. Cedar Fork special day Cedar Fork Baptist Church of Suggsville will have Family and Friends Day Sunday, July 1 at 12 p.m. Minister Mack Wright Jr. will be the guest speaker. New Union homecoming The New Union Baptist Church located on Highway 69 South of Coffeeville will have homecoming and revival services Sunday, July 1 at 11 a.m. Services with pastor, Rev. Donald Reed at 2:30 p.m. and the homecoming program with Rev. Clarence Lucious and his congregation. The revival will begin Monday, July 2 through Friday, July 6 at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. Pilgrim Rest anniversary Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church of Walker Springs will have its 94th year church anniversary Sunday, July 8 at 2 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Union Grove Baptist Church located on Highway 69 near Coffeeville will have an Avalance Ranch Bible School beginning Monday, July 9 through Friday, July 13 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. nightly. All ages from 2 and up are welcomed. If you think you are too old to be a young buckaroo then you may be a wrangler. There is a job for you.
