Closing in and opening up at GHES
Changes are underway at Grove Hill Elementary School. At left, the "pods" that had once been a large open space for several classrooms are being walled in as individual classrooms. When the school opened in 1970, the open space classrooms were popular but have since fallen out of favor. Over the years the space has been partly enclosed but when school starts they will be fully enclosed. Above, most of the trees on the front campus of the school have also been cut, opening up the view of the school. Some of the trees had been cut last year due to decay.
