Softball all-stars fall in Gilbertown

The Thomasville 13-15-yearold softball all-stars dropped both of their games in the District tournament in Gilbertown this past weekend.

Thomasville lost the opener Friday night 10-4 to Linden.

Kayla Megginson drew a pair of walks and scored two runs. Dewanna Baker had the only hit. Kenya Horn walked twice and scored a run. McKenzie Dungan and Crystal Overton each walked.

On Saturday Thomasville was bounced from the tournament as they lost 13-0 to Demopolis.

Amberis Todd Weaver had a double. Latreasure Law, Courtney Dunagan, Autumn Suddreth and Crystal Calhoun each had a hit.

The rest of the all-star team was: Conner Dungan and Kaitlyn Shiver.
