7 & 8-year-old all-stars end season

The Grove Hill 7 & 8-year-old baseball all-stars lost 11-7 to Monroeville in the championship game of the district tournament last Wednesday in Sweet Water.

Dillon Smith, Vann Wilson and Edward Skipper all went 2-for-2. Rashon Horn went 2-for-3. Tony Lewis, Bryce Lolley, Dallas Todd, Latavian Washington, Reece Powell and Cameron Gates each added a hit.

Grove Hill finished second in the tournament.

On Tuesday, June 19 Grove Hill eliminated Sweet Water from the tournament by a score of 5- 3.

Tony Lewis went 3-for-3. Latavian Washington went 2-for-2. Rashon Horn went 2-for-3. Bryce Lolley, Vann Wilson, Reece Powell, Heath Helms, Cameron Gates and Trey McConnell each had a hit.
