11 & 12-year-old all-stars in Thomasville tourney

Grove Hill's 11 & 12-year-old all-stars powered past the Bama Boys 19-4 Tuesday night in Thomasville.

Zach Webb had two hits and three runs scored. Rush Wiggins and Brandon Pugh each had two hits and two runs scored. Anthony Watkins and Drew Larrimore each had a hit and scored three runs. Med Everett, Peyton Wilson, Jacob Allen and Kelvin Burden each had a hit and a run scored. Nicholas Bishop and Matthew Harvey each added a hit. Benjamin Pickard scored two runs.

Watkins fanned six in two innings. Webb struck out five in two innings on the mound.

Monday night Grove Hill lost 15- 2 to Wilcox.

Watkins had a double. Larrimore, Pickard and Burden each had a hit. Webb had two RBI.

Wiggins, Webb and Larrimore pitched. Grove Hill faced Monroeville Wednesday in an elimination game.
