      We've heard it said, "The fastest way to get out of a hole is to quit digging." The remark was attributed to Warren Buffett in regards to business ventures. It could also apply to the United State's involvement in a war in Iraq.

      It is a great tragedy of epic proportions. The man who was elected to more offices more times than anyone in Alabama, the man who many thought could be Alabama's greatest governor found guilty of trading on his office and sentenced to over seven years.
