Jackson

Charity Bell Jackson, 82, of Barlow Bend died June 25, 2007 at Providence Hospital in Mobile.

She was born March 6, 1925. She was a member of the Rocky Mount Baptist Church of Barlow Bend where she served in the missionary society. She was a member of the L.D. Williams Pride Order of the Eastern Star No. 730 of Barlow Bend.

Survivors include four sons, Rev. King D. (Lucy) Jackson, Willie (Ethel) Jackson, all of Gainestown, Leroy (Teena) Jackson, Barlow Bend, Claybon (Shirley) Jackson, Mobile; six daughters, Rosie Montgomery, Gainestown, Jestine (James) Clarke, Claudia (J.C.) Rocker, Ella McGaster, Bernice (John) Peoples, all of Barlow Bend; Fannie (Michael) White, Alma; one sister, Josphine Jackson, Barlow Bend; 46 grandchildren; 115 greatgrandchildren; 19 great-greatgrandchildren.

The service was July 3 at 1 p.m. at Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Barlow Bend with Rev. King D. Jackson, pastor, officiating with Eastern Star Rites prior to the service. Burial was in the Union Chapel Cemetery at Barlow Bend. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed.
