Ferrell

Lillie Ferrell, 78, of Chatom died June 17, 2007 at Washington County Infirmary.

She was born Dec. 28, 1928. She was a native of Bladon Springs. She was a member of the Cooper Lewis C.M.E. Church of Chatom where she served as trustee. She was a member of the missionary society and former choir president.

Survivors include two sons, George (Theda) Rhodes, Chatom, Will (Tiffany) Rhodes, Japan; six daughters, Joann (Travis) Wilson, Citronelle, Marie Jones, Thomaston, Ga., Josephine (Rev. Eddie) Marzett, Rose (Willie) McKinnis, Dorothy (Willie) Caves, all of Chatom, Mammie (Clarence) Lucious, Vinegarbend; four stepsons, Wesley (Diane) Smith, Chatom, David (Cynthia) Ferrell, Citronelle, Amos Ferrell, Andrew Ferrell, both of California; three sisters, Willie Henderson, Mobile, Ella M. Williams, Prichard, Iola (James) Murphy, Whistler; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

The service was June 23 at 1 p.m. at the Cooper Lewis C.M.E. Church of Chatom. Burial was in the Hillcrest Cemetery of Chatom. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home directed.
