Herman Lloyd Jackson, 76, of Grove Hill died June 28, 2007 at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 28, 1931 in Marshall County, Ala. He was a carpenter.

Survivors include six sons, Herman M. Jackson, Woodville, Richard Vernon Jackson, Robert Edward Jackson, Jesse Floyd Jackson, James Lloyd Jackson, Stuart Russell Jackson, all of Grove Hill; six daughters, Betty Jean Stokes, Wanda Ruth Pruitt, Elizabeth Ann Maynard, Carolyne Sanders, all of Huntsville, Sherry Lynn Hodges, Bay Minette, Pamela Marie Pugh, Grove Hill; 32 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was June 30 at 11 a.m. at the Wade-Hicks Family Cemetery in Grove Hill. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.

Active pallbearers were Jesse Jackson, Wayne Brooks, Dustin Jackson, Casey Smith, Sean Brooks and Ethan Jackson.
