Scarbrough Mertice Nell Scarbrough, 68, of Grove Hill died June 25, 2007 at Mobile Infirmary. She was born Nov. 26, 1938. She was a member of Bassett Creek Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two brothers, Palmer Scarbrough, Lester Scarbrough, both of Grove Hill; one sister, Janice S. Rush Paramore, Marianna, Fla.; several nephews and nieces. The service was June 27 at 11 a.m. at the Bassett Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Kynard officiating. Burial was in the Bassetts Creek Baptist Church cemetery. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Thomasville directed.
Active pallbearers were Lamar Hudson, Bimbo Baugh, Randy Brooks, Gary Sellers, El Ray Copeland, John Daffin, Frankie Baugh and Keith McGuire.
