Gilmore

Dr. Keith Woodham Gilmore, 84, of Birmingham died June 16, 2007. He was born March 3, 1923. He was the son of the late Thomas Jefferson and Cordelia Gilmore of Coffeeville. He was a captain serving at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi. He was discharged in 1955. He was a doctor in obstetrics and gynecology at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, La.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Gilmore; and one son, Joe Keith Gilmore; three daughters, Jancie G. Campbell, Judy G. Riley, Jean G. Jenkins; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

The service was June 18 at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel in Birmingham with Revs. Rick Owen, Chris Denson and his grandson-in-law, Jason Hill officiating.

Active pallbearers were his grandsons.
