Vehicle stolen in Jackson, then discovered burned
By Kathryn F. Pickard News Reporter

A burned vehicle found by Clarke County Sheriff's deputies in Gainestown last week was stolen from an East Pearl Street residence in Jackson.

Apparently the vehicle's owner, Regina Creer, had left the vehicle at a relative's house while she was out of town.

The relatives were not suspicious when the car went missing because they assumed Creer had returned and picked it up.

According to Jackson Police Chief Charles Burge, the incident is still under investigation and there are no suspects at this time.
