Todd Memorial golf tourney set

The sixth annual Sam and Sarah Todd Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, August 11 at Deer Field Golf Course in Chatom.

The annual tournament raises money to help with community projects in Toddtown.

The format will be a 2-man medal play and the tee time is 8 a.m.

The entry fee is $75 per player and the deadline to enter is July 30.

Players and teams can win $30,000 on a hole in one, as well as stereos, televisions and more.

Trophies will be awarded to first, second and third place team. Lunch will be provided as well.

Corporate sponsorship's are available for $450 and that gives the donor a plaque, billboard ad as well as four players in the tourney. There is also a hole sponsorship for $250 which places an ad at the hole and two players in the tournament.

The event is sponsored by the Toddtown Community Development Center and checks can be made payable to that group and sent to P.O. Box 703, Jackson, AL 36545.
