Fire burns up mobile home
Fire started around the electrical box of Wayne and Paulette Powell's mobile home on the Pineywoods Road in the Helwestern community south of Grove Hill early Friday evening. Helwestern and Grove Hill firemen responded promptly and extingushed the fire. However, it blazed back up around 10 p.m. and the mobile home was completely destroyed. The Powells were not at home at the time. Helwestern Chief Tank Wilson said the cause of the fire is being investigated.
