Lathan Flora Mae Lathan, 85, of Jackson died July 5, 2007 in a health care facility in Clarke County. She was born Sept. 11, 1921. She was a native of Green County, Miss. She was a member of Springbank Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include three sons, Harold A. Lathan, Montgomery, Douglas Lathan, James Lathan, both of Chatom; three daughters, Carol Lathan Goolsby, Judy Lathan Payne, both of Jackson, Maureen Lathan Henson, Chatom; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
The service was July 7 at 11 a.m. at Springbank Baptist Church in Chatom with Rev. Bobby Smith officiating. Burial was in the Springbank Baptist Church Cemetery. Lathan Funeral Home Directed.
