Martin

Eula Martin, 91, died July 3, 2007. She was born May 1, 1916.

Survivors include one son, Guy (Lynne) Martin Jr.; two daughters, Sue (James Lee) Adams, Vicki (Greg) Holton Sr.; three sisters, Roberta Chevillon, Grey Tate and Alice (James) Taylor; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Alpheus Benson and Roberta Clarke Benson, a brother, Elwis Benson, grandfather, and the Rev. Ripley Kizziah Benson, minister of Baptist churches in Salem, Nettlesboro and near Fulton.

A memorial service was July 6 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Tellico Village, Tenn., with Dr. Charlie Barnard officiating. Burial was July 7 alongside her husband in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville with Rev. Eugene Ennis officiating. Click Funeral Home of Lenoir City, Tenn. directed.

Donations may be made in memory of Eula V. Martin to the First Baptist Church of Tellico Village, Tenn., the First Baptist Church of Camilla, Ga. or the First Baptist Church of Trussville.
