Does well at pageant

Chelsea Sellers with Miss Teen Alabama 2006
Chelsea Hope Sellers entered the competition for the National American Miss Junior Teen Pageant in Birmingham during May 26- 28 and came back to Clarke County holding her head high. Chelsea was among the Top 15 selected from a total of 92 contestants in the National American Miss Junior Teen Bulletin.

She was awarded first place in Casual Wear Competition accompanied by a cash prize; and she was also given a Most Promising Modeling Award with a modeling scholarship. Judging was based on personal introduction, interview, and escorted formal wear competition.

Her parents are Larry and India Gates, her grandparents are Randall and Kathy Robertson (who accompanied and escorted her through the competition); Jack and Shealor Hardcastle; Larry Gates Sr. and Suzy Jones and Ernest and Linda Sellers.
